Calendar and Connections for the week of March 12
Thursday:
Parent & Chaperon Meeting tomorrow night
Please join us Thursday, March 15th 6:30-7:30 in the IVE MPR for Camp Orkila Parent Info night. Parents will get to hear from our YMCA Camp Orkila representative about all the fun and outdoor learning that awaits your 5th grader in June. There will be a presentation on what to expect at camp and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Chaperons that were notified already are asked to stay from 7:30-8:00 for the mandatory chaperone training.
Mathematics: Students review progress with Objective Tracker Forms, post their test results on Seesaw, and work on Zearn.
Wednesday:
Math: Mid-module 4 Assessment
Science/ L.A. Integrated: Review for Thursday's Life Science Test.
Students have completed 5 sets of reading with q&a worksheets. If students were absent and/or they lost their work, they should have it made up by Thursday. They will turn in their worksheets tomorrow when they take the test.
Tuesday:
Math: Mid-module test review II. HW: Teacher test preparation sheet.
Science/ L.A. Integrated Ecosystems 5 - the last segment of the life science section on ecosystems.
Lang Arts/ Reading: District Reading Post Assessment
Read Aloud: Weedflower Chapters 9 & 10.
Monday:
Math: Mid-module test review and Lesson 10. HW lesson 10
Integrated L.A. / Science: Life Science / Ecosystems 4 Text Reading, Q&A
Computers: Zearn / Progress Check-in
Writing: Paragraph Assessment: What might be the effects of drilling in ANWR?
