Students are returning home with lots of prior math work, a math self-reflection of unit 1 skills, and their geography tests.
Ballroom dance - In large part a good session. Students added their last step to the Merengue and continued their Fox Trot.

**Self-Check of our first 12 lessons for concept/skill understanding** Students gave me a copy and are taking home a copy.
Learning decimal multiplication the old fashion way...via removing the decimal point, multiplying with whole numbers, and then reinserting the decimal point in the correct value place.
Thursday
Science: Students discussed their home brought fertilizer additives, and planted their seeds following specific steps in their science Unit 1 teams.
Math Lesson 12 - finding reasonable decimal multiplication estimations
Wednesday
Science: Preparation for Planting. Discussion, planning, and Decisions on Control Variables.
Math Lesson 11 - multiplying decimals
Tuesday
Science: Introduction to Wisconsin Fast Plant Experiment. Students learned the unit's objectives: 1) To learn elements the scientific method and 2) To complete a scientific experiment controlling for one variable that could influence our WI Fast Plant's growth.
Optional homework: Students can bring in a sealed plastic baggy a crushed up, granular, or powdered quantity (equal to one standard game die) of a safe, inexpensive, and easily available ingredient to see how it could work as a fertilizer additive.
Ballroom Dance: Students did an amazing job today learning the Merengue and Fox Trot!

Zearn Online Math: Students received a Zearn Username and Password, logged in successfully, and began Module 1. We'll be using Zearn regularly as part of our math differentiation in class.
Math HW Help: Lesson 9 - I added today's worksheet to Homework Help/ Math Folder if you lost your homework sheet today. If you don't have a printer, write your answers on a sheet of notebook paper.
Language Arts: Students who did not have time to finish their Book group's assignment today should finish it as homework.
